Kate Wardlaw has spent many years working within the high-octane international luxury superyacht sector. Her customer-centred style and significant experience in superior 7-Star service equips Kate with a drive to attain perfection as a benchmark and exceed expectations for her clients whether they are buying or selling a home.

Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Design majoring in Spatial Design before embarking on a 5-year career working on superyachts across the globe. Her working life took her from South East Asia to all through the Mediterranean, the East Coast of the United States, the Bahamas and many other parts of the world. As a senior crew member and right-hand woman to the yacht owners her natural talent for client-care ultimately led to her being appointed first in charge as Chief Stewardess. In June 2020 she returned to New Zealand and acquired her real estate salesperson licence.  After researching a number of other brands, she chose to join the Ray White Parnell office – attracted by its culture, the professional team and its outstanding profile in the area.

Kate’s significant range of experience in customer service is highly relevant to the real estate business. She has come from an industry where she knows how to keep the high-net worth customers happy – a tall order when you can have whatever you want. Her financial smarts are well-developed after dealing with significant budgets for onboard expenses.  As an adaptable, tenacious person with a transparent communication style, Kate pushes the bar higher as a perfectionist on getting the details right first time to meet customer expectations. Visual with a keen eye for design and aesthetics, Kate enjoys advising her clients on the best ways to present a home for sale. Open and friendly with a sense of fun, Kate is able to connect quickly with people and intuitively grasp what it is they need.

Kate was a ballerina and national champion rower in high school, from which she attributes to her discipline and work ethic. She is a passionate traveller, landscaper, and with a love of the ocean in her veins, she spends time exploring the beaches around Auckland and New Zealand when time allows.
