After 20 years of producing great stories for some of New Zealand’s most well-known and well-loved brands it’s no surprise I am a great believer in the power of marketing to achieve outstanding sales results. Selling or buying a home is an epic process these days, with an ever more fluid marketplace and enlightened and savvy clientele – there is definitely a need to provide more than just integrity and enthusiasm to sell your home. We need to create the perfect match. There is no sale without a willing purchaser and we need to tell them all about the wonder that is your home. 

But before we go there, now more than ever, we need to guide and provide rational and evidential information to support our strategies, explaining to our vendors how we will sell your home for the best possible price in the current market. And as qualified Real Estate Salespeople, we all need to guide, and provide compelling and genuine marketing stories to demonstrate to purchasers, why they need to consider your home above all others vying for their attention. There can be no guesswork involved, we absolutely must do the right job and work hard for both sides of the real estate equation. Quite simply, you need a qualification, but the best representative for you as a vendor or a buyer is with an agent that has experience and had some real skin in the game, only then does one really empathise what you are going through.  

I have proof that I have lived and breathed Auckland City real estate starting at the tender age of 22 – when I bought my first gorgeous Grey Lynn Bungalow (which I renovated) this was further leveraged to buy a bach in Waiheke Island and a central CBD period apartment and eventually in time I managed my first new building project replacing the old bach with a stunning new home in Onetangi, Waiheke.

Fast-forward 10 years and I have continued to develop, renovate, rent and on-sell a number of investment properties in Auckland and Hamilton and I am still currently a landlord to this day. I have also project managed renovations for others too, so you can also count on my ability to spot the opportunities to maximise the visual impact of your home for sale.
